Saturday 17 March 2012: Ghillie Dhu bar hatch

Had a great day watching the rugby in a local pub. Started at 11.30 and left at around 7.30 to go to Wagamammas for tea.

Went on from there to the Ghillie Dhu for a friends 40th birthday party. She had reserved a couple of booths behind the bar. One of the great advantages turned out to be a hatch that opened onto the bar. If you wanted to order a drink, you just turned on a light and the bar staff opened the hatch and you ordered and paid.

No queuing at the bar but it does have the disadvantage that you don't realise when you start to loose the co-ordination in your legs.
