Monday 1 September 2008: I don't hate Mondays
Monday is officially the best day of the week, because instead of getting up and going to work, I get to spend the entire day getting up to stuff with Bella. What's even better is that Tuesday doesn't end up feeling like the new Monday, and Friday's so much closer to Tuesday than it is Monday.
Today, we decided to build a raised bed in our new garden (which, even if I do say so myself, is looking rather splendid). Bella was at a bit of a loose end until our neighbour kindly gave her her very own set of power tools so she could be just like daddy. To say she was chuffed would be the understatement of the century.
