Monday 19 March 2012: Echoes
The many echoes in this shot made me think of the Floyd song of that name.
So now I have 23:28 re-living The Rainbow in 1972 to where my cousin dragged me to queue for 12 hours to see them perform the songs on Meddle that had just been released and an early complete version of Dark Side before they had finished recording that.
It's odd how after 25 years of sneering at Pink Floyd and their like, I am now re-discovering just how good they were.
Is anyone breaking new ground these days? Maybe no one takes drugs any more..
