Sunday 18 March 2012: Downhill
The sun shone on us all day today, so it was very outdoorsy day. I transplanted the tiny seedling salad leaves into the cloche and sowed flower seeds, tidied, varnished some stones for the flower beds, hung out washing and went for a 12km bike ride with Hubs. I only went as far as the Mt Gabriel pass but Hubs went off for a further 18km. My never ending cold continues to hamper my mental and physical willpower. Excuses excuses!!
This is the view of Schull harbour coming downhill from Mt Gabriel. In May it will be packed with hundreds of boats on their mooring and lots of sailing school activity, but right now it's tranquil and empty.I like the extremes of both.
