Monday 19 March 2012: Welcome Home

This sculpture is on the seafront at Fleetwood, on the spot where families would stand to welcome home the trawlers from days away at sea.

Designed and sculpted by Anita Lafford, funded by Fisherman's Friend.

The sea front at Fleetwood has had a lot of work done on it and it looks very nice, especially when the sun is shining. Excuse the back view of this sculpture but the other way the background was cluttered with parked cars.
