Monday 19 March 2012: Cheeky mare

Once Bella and her riding teacher have trotted off over the horizon, I find myself spending an increasing amount of time alone with the other horses, talking about life, the universe, and the challenges we humans face.

A problem shared, and all that.

This one's the best listener by a country mile. And like all good therapists, she's not afraid to let her feelings show.
