Monday 19 March 2012: The Hebridean Princess in the Holy Loch
On my way into the office in Dunoon this morning ( it was a constituency day) I noticed the small luxury cruise ship, the Hebriden Princess moored in the Holy Loch, and some activity with her two tenders.
I always find this ship fascinating, given her history as a Cal Mac ferry, but I had not seen her here before. I usually meet her steaming up Loch Fyne towards Inveraray or in Oban bay.
After a first picture with Kilmun in the background, I realised I would get a far better image from Lazaretto Point. And so it turned out - the boat with the brooding hills above Loch Eck behind, and a touch of mist over the whole thing.
