Monday 19 March 2012: Ye Olde Mill, Ingleby Barwick
Had a great day at work, it's been busy due to post application day - lots of new faces and introductions. I've been like the mobile travel agent today, parents requiring train, bus & plane times from the campus to all destinations - thank heavens for iPhone Apps!! By the end of the day I felt like I worked for British Rail and Arriva! Well at least if I get stuck in Teesside I know what time the trains run to Darlington, Durham and Newcastle Airport lol
So due to me being busy I had no blip and knowing almost every inch of the road on the way home I decided to vary my route. I would never normally take the road through Ingleby Barwick as it's not really on route home - but I'm pleased I did - as I was exiting the biggest private housing estate in Europe I spied the above - It's the Old Mill. (It's now a delightful B&B) I did go in and ask if it was OK to loiter in the grounds and take some photos and Zoe the proprietor was happy for me to so do! I have to say it's very charming both inside and out - On the inside the stair case runs around on the inside of the interior walls and is curved with the structure of the Mill.
Thank you for all your comments and fav's on yesterday's blip - it made the "Spotlight" so thank you all so kindly :-)
Happy Start to the week - Carry On Blipping!
