~Rain Puddle~

~Desert Sunset Reflection~


One finds the oddest things in the arid desert.
A small green plant growing in a mud puddle.
Will it survive once the water dries up?
Can the roots grow fast enough to nourish it?
Will it find ground water in time to sustain itself?
I surely hope that someday it will be a enormous tree!
