Monday 19 March 2012: Subtle
Well L's post arrived this morning, and our less than regular postie didn't look too chuffed when I answered the knock at the door. While his accuracy is remarkably similar to that of Pat, his demeanour tends to be the polar opposite. Still, getting rid of this lot must've lightened his bag somewhat, so shouldn't have held today's grudge for too long...we can only hope. I'm pretty sure the bookies round the corner has a popular line on when he's next going to grace us with a delivery, with an accumulator based on the percentage of delivered items actually being for us/our address.
Anyway, guess we've got a bit of reading up to do in the meantime. And for ex-library books they are in remarkably good nick.
