Sunday 18 March 2012: Longhorns
Texas Longhorns.
Once I get in the car, I never stop to enjoy the scenery. Well, I did once.. on a road trip from Texas to Oregon one week in May. But that was ages ago. I saw the longhorns so close to the road.
I always regret not stopping.
So I pulled over to the side of the road, swung my car around, and jumped out of the car with my camera in hand. Ideally, I would have had my 70-200mm on my camera body, but it was packed up tight in the trunk. Alas. 35mm is my trusty standby. I got a little show from this lovely steer.
Back to Fort Worth late, late, late. It feels surprisingly great to be back in my own home.
