Tuesday 20 March 2012: Tired?
I'm actually almost too tired to write anything, or even remember anything about today.
Niamh woke at 5.45am this morning. She didn't cry, but we could hear her chatting from our room. I think she went back to sleep for a bit; I'm not sure if I did too... We all ended up getting up an hour later.
Quiet morning at home this morning. Niamh is still not a fan of breakfast and refused her "Fruity Porridge".
Took Aidan to nursery in the car, with the intention of getting Niamh home quickly for her nap. My plan paid off and she slept for a record 1hr and 45 min! I just had had a wee nap too!
Niamh and I walked up to get Aidan from nursery. They were both in a good mood and lots of fun this afternoon. Niamh's party trick of spilling (or spitting) water out her mouth has been encouraged by her giggling brother. She is actually developing a bit of a temper as she "shouts" when I take her cup away.
They are developing in so many ways as siblings - Aidan is soft and gentle with her most of the time, but we definitely are having more of the "No that's my toy, Niamh!" moments when she picks up something which belongs to him. Unfortunately Niamh just gets mad when he takes things from her and screams back.
