Leap!
Well that's officially 1 year complete...
366 - without missing a day.
Yep - it was a leap year... :-)
Very very happy right now!
Anyway, last night for the 365,
I gave thanks to those who have supported me through.
So tonight I though I'd post links to some of my favourite shots...
calling me
my girl
the boy in the corner
leap of faith
out with the boys
i put the duck in the shower
fixing mode
flute (has links to a few more favs as well)
stand up, be counted
where the wind blows
sunsets and s1
dolly
and she asks when I'll be home again
I thought picking a few favs would be easy - but there is more there that I am proud of than I thought there would be...
Its strange looking back,
so much now seems obvious in hindsight.
Interestingly, the journey i have been on over the last 366
is growing more visible over time
the excitement at the start where even household items seem new again
the hard days in the middle with day after day of desperate blips
the sunsets of autumn
the darkness of winter
the love of my life, S1, featuring again and again.
There is even more of a style starting to develop than I realised
with obvious inspiration coming from other blippers.
Sea Urchin, Kiwidino, Missing, lauren... (to name a few)
And many more outside blip.
Also, I've been amazed at how much I've enjoyed the writing
For a kid who was told he'd never pass english by a teacher I despised
I swore I'd write my way.
From the heart, straight from my thoughts
not analysed, just shared directly.
I've really enjoyed the last 366.
I've always said I'd do this as long as it felt right
I never thought it would be a year, but it still feels right...
so there is, for now, more to come.
366...
It's been a real blast!
Thanks for sharing it with me.
