Wednesday 21 March 2012: Anatomy

After an afternoon of interviews, I spent an interesting hour in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre listening to a poetry reading of Cadaver: speak - poems from the dissection lab by Marianne Boruch, currently a Fulbright Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh. A very appropriate and atmospheric location for a very engaging performance by Marianne herself and a group of students from medicine, poetry and literature.

PS if this gives the impression the event was empty, then that's incorrect. It definitely wasn't! Lots of people there and loads of questions and chat afterwards.
