Two Spoons

If only the days did not have to start so early. I really have no idea why the little ones are insisting on waking up before six o'clock every day. This has gone on for a few weeks now and we are exhausted.

Added to that when I collected them from nursery Boy had just fallen asleep and as soon as I picked him up he woke, the afternoon was looking bleak even with the sun shining. That said Boy happily sat in the buggy as we headed out into the sunshine. We visited a few shops on the way to the common. Boy got very excited when the skatepark came into view and was most upset that it was closed, so much so that he refused to leave insisting on watching some builders working in the park.

Luckily I saw some people playing football near the castle and so convinced Boy to head in that direction. At the castle we ate, drank and met friends before walking along the seaside to meet some more, even meeting some more on the way. All this and the little ones were still in high spirits and having fun.

Tiredness kicked in on the way home though with Boy giving in to the sleep. I tried to keep him awake but failed and when we got home waking him for dinner took some time. He must have been hungry though as he showed us how he can ate yoghurt with two spoons at once

With this late nap in the bag bedtime was, as expected, a shocker.
