Wednesday 21 March 2012: Gone too soon.
A horrible, horrible day today, I don't think any of us could quite believe the sad news we were confronted with this morning. One of the most passionate, uplifting, vibrant, inspiring and, frankly, nicest people I think I've met, who brightened every meeting we had with him, who never ever missed an opportunity to thank each and every one of us and others for the work that we did for him sadly died. In exactly the same circumstance that hit Fabrice Muamba at the weekend Tim was playing football and had a heart attack, he'll be badly missed.
My... our... thoughts are with his wife and young family.
A very bright light has been turned out.
