Saturday 17 March 2012: HUMP RIDGE JET
Today we jet boated the Wairaurahiri from Lake Hauroko south 27 k to almost the southern most point of the South Island . The river falls 560 metres over the 27 k and is said to be New Zealands longest water fall.! A very exciting white knuckle day but a great buzz.
