Thursday 22 March 2012: There is Something About Mary
Mary came by to have her professional profile portrait taken. We managed to do that in no time at all and she very kindly let me shoot away while we had our coffee and a bit of a catch up. Mary is unbelievably wise and intuitive. She left me with a lot of food for thought. Maybe even one or two biscuits that I am struggling to digest. Sometimes she has a way of seeing right through me. It's unsettling yet strangely comforting. To feel loved not in spite of your foibles but because of them. That is a rare and precious gift. Don't we all just desire to be accepted for who we are?
