Tuesday 20 March 2012: improving aim
Playing badminton for the first time since three weeks ago was a lot less weird than playing for the first time in seventeen years three weeks ago. I can't say that I've improved but three weeks of more comfortable handlebars meant that there was no wrist-ache from the additional and unhabitual racquet-waggling. I didn't always cause the person I was partnered with to be on the losing team this week and again managed to not accidentally twat someone athwart the face, nor deliberately.
I was slightly too late again to catch the boy before he went to sleep; even if my chain hadn't slipped off when attempting to set off I'd probably still have missed it, even if I'd still walked round the lights at the end of the road.
