Red Beetle

Such an imaginatative title isn't it!!!

Doug found this underneath something old and wet. He wasn't showing too much life (the beetle that is) and because of that was easy to photograph.....fascinating how the edges are shaded dark, like wearing a coat....macro shows a hell of a lot!!

Spent the morning finishing editing the salon photo's then delivered them after lunch.

Expecting Dougs sister and husband for dinner tonight and staying for the weekend I think. We are having a couple go through our place tonight at 5.30 so have to make ourselves scarce for an hour.

Off to Tekapo tomorrow for the day so may be scarce on blip as well.
