A Razzle Dazzle day co-inciding with my 200 Blipday!
Taken to London to see the Hockney Exhibition in the afternoon and Chicago in the evening. Walked our socks off in between.
Chicago was most excellent:)) The cast worked their butts off to entertain, wonderful voices, great dancing, legs that go on forever ...
I am constantly amazed at the sheer amount of talent on our stages, mostly unknown but wonderful and highly talented performers. However I would not want to tangle with any of the characters who gave a marvellous and passionate rendition of 'He had it coming', fearsome ladies seen above. Sitting on the third row from the front was rather intimidating:)
But the favourite song which stays in your mind forever and a day ...
Give 'em the old Razzle Dazzle
Razzle Dazzle 'em
Give 'em an act with lots of flash in it
And the reaction will be passionate
Give 'em the old hocus pocus
Bead and feather 'em
How can they see with sequins in their eyes?
What if your hinges all are rusting?
What if, in fact, you're just disgusting?
Razzle Dazzle 'em
And they'll never catch wise!
Good advice in those last 4 lines for all us wrinklies:))
