Friday 23 March 2012: Of Sky Cloud and Lake

Large is enchanting!

I could look up or down or across this morning from where I stood on a rock on the shore of Lake Bomoseen. Each view reflected my still awakening mind and thoughts that had toes in sleep and fingers in awake.

For a brief moment as the sun worked its rays towards the horizon a pinkish red color swept over the edges of the textured clouds and dipped them into new paints. I stood almost forgetting to shoot. I was entranced by the artist and grateful to be standing there on the shore.

Today in my Bethography journal - Expectations. I am never quite sure which shot should go in which journal. I suppose this one here in Bethanne's Vermont is the quieter of the two but it is more heart felt for me. The gull in the rising sun was shear good fortune. edit - and it (the gull) is showing to be the favored Blip with all these generous hearts. Thank-you.
