Ed Balls, Shadow Chancellor

From top politicians to kids at a nursery, a varied day at work today.... I always find it interesting to meet big name politicians, and Ed Balls, the Labour Shadow Chancellor, is pretty near the biggest name in UK politics. I enjoyed my short 'photo op' to get this portrait.
He's a very friendly and assured with the media, and clearly heading higher. When the conference he was speaking to today in Scarborough over-ran, he simply left his scripted speech, and spoke 'ad lib' instead.

Oh and the kids at a nursery were one of the Sports Relief charity events I had to snap, inbetween doing the conference. So the day started with childminders sponsored walk, then to meet Vince Cable, the Business Minister.... All in a days work, sometimes!
