Monday 5 March 2007: Vertigo

Ratho is open again (or the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena as it is now known).

Between visits I always forget just how terrifyingly high the walls are. Just under 30m at this point - the small white dot to the right of my left ankle is my belayer (thanks Julia).

The climbing is great - it's the lowering back down that scares me.
