Visit to Nanchang School for Deaf Children

Today a group of volunteers and I visited Nanchang School for Deaf Children. The visit was organised by Nanchang Cares4Kids, a local volunteer group set up by some locals and some expats. NCC4Kids visits this school every few weeks to play with the kids. The school is about 40 minutes from the city centre, more or less in the countryside and so is a little isolated. The children there are all quite young and they all board at the school so don't have much interaction with people besides their teachers.
Today we took bubble wands, paper hats, stickers, and cut out paper leaves for some craft activities and general play.
This was my first visit but I hope it to go again soon.
