Emerging from the mist

The last few days in Edinburgh have been dominated by the haar rolling in from the Forth and not leaving all day. I spent about three hours on the beach in the freezing fog trying to capture the mist shrouding the famous Rail Bridge so it looked as if the structure was appearing out of the clouds.

Fog and mist gives an olde worlde feel to most images and so a little bit of sepia treatment not only enhances that but also gives me a good image to submit into the Weekend Blip Challenge monthly theme of Black and White.
