Saturday 24 March 2012: Big skies over Bantry Bay
What a few days - today is the first day for about a fortnight that we've caught our breaths! Laura the wwoofer has departed - she worked so hard and left everywhere looking immaculate; all beds ready for action; spuds, peas and broadbeans in; tomatoes sown, brambles hacked and a whole heap of weeding achieved. It's been all go at school too and I've managed to do a bit of work on the school history but not as much as I should have done!
Himself had a very enjoyable birthday (thank you for all the well wishes which I passed on) and we celebrated with an enormous Greek style meal. I'm whisking him off to the Wicklow Hill for three days walking in April.
We saw Wuthering Heights at the arthouse on Tuesday. I was just knocked out by it - very raw, brutal and real with amazing scenery. Everyone else hated it - has anyone else seen it?
Yesterday we had a great day at Margaret's wedding and today we've just been pottering. There were strange UFO type clouds over Bantry Bay and now the mist is coming in.
