Saturday 24 March 2012: Cream Spot Ladybird

Busy day today. Started by shutting down some servers at work via the VPN. Then thermal imaging two houses. Then I blipped this ladybird. We then went out to look at a community energy project in Old Basing and a Eco-super-house near Winchester. On the way back we stopped off for some shopping. Then we had dinner and now it's time for Inspector Montalbano.

This ladybird is a Cream Spot Ladybird (Calvia quatuordecimpunctata
Coleoptera) that my better half found when we were hanging the laundry out to dry before we went off for the day. Not red like the more common 7 or 2 spots, but still a ladybird and good to have in the garden.
