Saturday 24 March 2012: Lickarse!
We finally made it to the Huge Tongue exhibition in the Trinity science gallery.
The kids loved it.
There was a bouncy castle representing the digestive system. They bounced for ages in a big stomach and we retrieved them through the big colon after 20 minutes of digestive agitation (the organisers were kind enough to stop short of throwing in buckets of gastric acid).
Luca was absolutely delighted to finally get a chance to look into a microscope.
Two actually: an optical one with the mouth of a maggot on display, and an electronic one with salmonella bacteria. Needless to say he was over the moon.
Rejects:
Three in the afternoon and she was already jarred
Atomic mushroom on Finnzy Bob's head
The moment Luca disappeared in a puff of smoke
Witches of Eastwick
Home brew
