Travels Through A Lens

Shop Window

This is a shop window of the new Hand Made in Bradford shop which opened today on the same day that Bradford was celebrating the opening of Centenary Square. The children were captivated by the girls moving in the window.

I like the reflections in the window, being fascinated by reflections at the moment.

Upstairs there was a zine fair which was positively buzzing, along with the centre of Bradford. I couldn't believe the variety of people that were looking around the fair, which was fantastic! There will be a lot more people who will now know what a zine is. In case you haven't come across zines, they are generally described as inexpensively self published magazines on an irregular basis with low copy numbers usually produced by photocopying. You can fold up a piece of A4 paper, write/draw/paste pictures or text on it and make a zine. You can then make copies by photocopying it. They can get a lot more elaborate too.

It was a good creative mind thinking day where all walks of life came together in the centre of Bradford :)

Apologies for not commenting as I will be catching up tomorrow.
