Indecent Exposure

Liquid Crystal

I've toyed around with my equipment to make a super-macro setup around two months ago, but didn't realise that I could take this into the microscopic level, until I saw this on Reddit. Needless to say, I went on my way to "(re)invent" one with what I have.

I used a set of extension tubes, attached to the 55-250mm zoomed at 250mm. Then a 58mm reverse ring attached to the 18-55mm zoomed at 18mm (when reversed 18mm becomes the maximum magnification).

The blip is a magnification of a couple pixels of the LCD TV. Each set of Red, Green and Blue bars make one pixel, I believe.

I've done a few others like onion, potato, paper and coins, among other things.
