Sunday 25 March 2012: Babies!
A late lunch out at The Red Barn saw an opportunity to take photos of the peachicks. Tony (the peacock) and Sarah (the peahen) are the proud parents of five of these little darlings.
I felt so sorry for Sarah. It was raining quite heavily and she wanted to keep her children close under her for protection, but they had different ideas! Each time she managed to corral one the other would escape - that's why there is one missing here, she is managing to nest on him while the other four party.
