Sunday 25 March 2012: Stormy Sunday

We have had a really enjoyable day.....up late, chatting over breakie then coffee with my lovely sister-in-law and husband.

Decided to do a trip of nostalgia! They have lived away from Timaru for many many years, so we set off and visited their family homes both in Timaru (for Doug & his sister) and Seadown for myself and our brother-in-law. Lots of changes over the years in many respects. We ended up for a late lunch at The Shearers Quarters which is a fab shop and restaurant in a converted woolshed and silo....this place backs onto the farm that I grew up on - I always enjoy heading out that way.

Whilst out there the thunder storm hit, heavy rain & hail, short and sharp.....took this on the way home. Now the sun is shinning and there is little sign of the rain that pelted down.

A lovely weekend, drawing to a close.

Rainie

PS - thanks so much for the lovely comments, lots of faves and stars from yesterdays wrinkly nose
