Saturday 24 March 2012: Heron collage
We took the hooligans out to the Marymoor dog park and there is Heron nest building going on there! Very exciting to watch them fly back and forth with twigs and things to build the nest with. Next to the dog park is a section for Autobon birding. Funny thing is the Herons have chosen to nest in the tress in the dog park area. Both sections are very close to the Sammamish Slough here for easy fishing for them. I'm loving going and watching them and the dogs get to romp all around in the meantime!
