Sunday 25 March 2012: Japanese Garden

It was either the Cherry Blossom Festival in Kaiserslautern or the Almond Blossom Festival in Neustadt-Gimmeldingen today - I went for the cherries in the Japanese Garden.

Here you see the koi pond with the island and the teahouse on the left. Better in large.
Everybody loved watching the colourful koi in the pond.
Unfortunately most of the cherry blossoms were still sleeping - next weekend would have been the better choice for the festival.
But it was the opening of the 2012 season today and I will not complain.
I love going there. So did many others.

I tried myself on panorama shots today.
