Narcissus canaliculatus

A rather more mundane blip today.

These Narcissus canaliculatus were planted at the same time as the hyacinths but came out of the dark a month later than them and they are on the (north-facing) windowledge in the vestibule .

I'm a bit disappointed as only six of the ten have any flowers and although they are in pairs they they are so tiny they don't give much of a show. Mr Flum tells me they have a lovely scent (sadly, not on my limited olfactory wavelength).

After flowering they'll go into the garden, along with the three hyacinths next to them, (which I am now feeding to build them up) so I hope for better next year.
