Sunday 25 March 2012: Conquering Animal Sound
Today I joined the legions of middle aged suburban men sproucing up their gardens. Does the first sunny day of spring always sound like tinnitus?
Tonight I headed out to a great gig. It was Conquering Animal Sound, Anchorsong and the Tinderbox orchestra. Tinderbox is a project to get young and talented musicians experimenting with new sounds and playing with local band. Their latest project was on Electronic music. It was great and at some points sounded very Sun Ra.
