Harbor Bench

All along Benicia's waterfront are little pocket parks. Most have benches. Some have beach access. This is the little park we go to most of all. It's at the end of West 2nd Street. Usually it's fairly windy down there, but always beautiful, no matter the weather.

Today it was rainy, as it has been off and on the last few days. But the sun broke through for a couple of hours. It was gorgeous and calm by the water. I made a loaf of bread and we took our walk while it was rising. By the time we got home it was ready to bake. Then I made some potato soup. It was a special request. My son is home from college for a week for Spring Break. My daughter moves out this next weekend. So whatever they want for dinner, they can have.
