Saturday 6 September 2008: Summer nights
Today's been cold, gloomy and distinctly autumnal - the kind that reminds one that one is going to have to figure out how to programme the central heating timer again soon.
Just as it was nearly over, the sun popped up and painted all the clouds pink.
Perhaps there's some life in the old girl yet.
