Energy.

I'm thinking I would like to do a little series of pictures on the topic of energy. So you might start to see more pictures turn up related to this topic. To start off, here is a picture related to one of the most identifiable sources of energy.

Electricity.

An extremely versatile form of energy it can be used in an almost limitless amount of applications from a light source, to heating, cooking and generating electromagnetic fields to enable us to communicate wirelessly at the speed of light. However the electricity we draw from our powerpoint isn't the beginning of the story.
We know from the law of conservation of energy that, 'Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.' And so consumer electricity needs to be manufactured (read generated) by expending some other form of energy.
