Saturday 17 March 2012: Bath-time
We decided to hire a car and circumnavigate the island of Koh Samui today. It is a very small island, and if we had driven round without stopping I reckon it would have taken around an hour. I had so many photos to choose from today - there were temples, big buddhas, views over the Ang Thong marine park, waterfalls, even tiger cubs (I was too excited to focus the camera on them it seems), but I've gone with an elephant having a wash. We had to pick our way round several bathing elephants to get back to our car, and we were mesmerised by every single one of them.
