Tuesday 27 March 2012: Lest We Forget

I have lived near this memorial all my life.

It is in honor of 1338 men who were residents of Southend-On-Sea who lost there lives.

This is one place that has never changed as far as i can remember in my area.
It is lovely to see something stay the same as the rest of the world evolves.
