Tuesday 27 March 2012: Dancing Dewdrops
Dawn dewdrops dance
Where last night's footsteps fell
Accentuating the memory
Of loving where only stars dwell
Discarded flotsam testifies
To passion's urgent need
While thoughts of life's mundanity
Into fog did gratefully recede
Ah! Looking at you now
With bliss of sleep written on face
I can only wonder
As your form my eyes trace
And settling myself again
Into bed of flower and leaf
With nought but sun above
And earth us underneath
I drift back into your arms
And settle with a sigh
And watch dancing dewdrops
Climb again to dawn filled sky
