Sunday 7 September 2008: Big Number
Worn with pride
Though the ride
But I was there at the end
Though I won't pretend
I'm an athlete
I'll back-blip the actual Bealach Mor sportive after getting one of the pictures from my sister that she took. 90 miles of torture yesterday - my brother and I headed back to Aberdeen, so he could drop me off at the train station to make my way south back to Edinburgh.
The weekend has, as is always the way when you go anywhere different, been short and I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow. I wish I was back at the Applecross campsite looking up at the clear sky, seeing the stars (and the Milky Way) clearly.
It was a weary trip home.
