Tuesday 27 March 2012: A fine food place.
Old town Kings Lynn. Found this area full of delightful streets with an almost continental riverside feel. Just needed a game of pétanque to give some atmosphere.
Had the best moules marinere and glass of wine I have tasted outside of our own home made dish we once ate with large "horse mussels" freshly picked at low tide on Lismore, Appin, Scotland. The mussels were local and we ate "alfresco"... After all it is a sweltering March. With global warming the French riviera weather will move north to around Paris and English wines will may become drinkable! CWBAFT !
(I apologise for my Fr/spelling it's 0132hrs and I'm too tired to check!)
