Wednesday 28 March 2012: quietly watching
Another steamy hot day in the Palace of Fun. Busy day and rather intense, but I came out to a still gloriously sunny and warm evening, so I went off somewhere new to blip . I found myself a tiny city community park, very long and thin with a few big trees and a play park. On a grey day it would be called bland. But, it was teaming with human life. The benches were filled with grungy looking teenagers sitting on them in every way possible except with their bums on the seat! There was a dad teaching his little girl to cycle, the play park was packed with happy screaming kids, there were smoochy couples entwined on the grass and piles of giggling girls gossiping, runners, walkers, dog walkers, watchers and at least one blipper.
I like the hugeness of this tree, just quietly watching over the flurry of humans .
