Wednesday 28 March 2012: Richmond, North Yorkshire... "Falls"

What a sensational day I've had doing absolutely nothing! Woke up at 0720 and armed with iPad I blipped till 0830 and decided it was time to get up and have brekkie. Got ready at leisure and had a stroll into town, I popped into Costa and had my traditional Saturday slurp watching the world go by hurrying around like little ants in search of things to carry to make it look like they have been busy shopping!

From town I then ambled back home, prepared tea then off to pick up BA at the train station. After tea (Pasta) we headed off to Richmond as I wanted to try to capture that watery silky motion effect at Richmond Falls. (I asked a photographer that I bumped into last night how to achieve this and they explained how to) so here is my first as pictured above. I'm happy with it - but I will greatly appreciate any feedback good, bad or indifferent? (In the production of this image I did in fact slip into the river, thankfully only above ankles and I was wearing flip flops!) (View Large)

Whilst in town I bought my first pair of skinny shorts for the summer - size S instead of XL - Great Feeling and I wore them this evening and although as night fell so did the temperature I was still walking round like it was the middle of summer lol
