'One for Sorrow'

There's been a few photos and comments about Magpies on Blipfoto, and other forums, lately so here's another one.
We took Jonty and Foxy to the graveyard in Coney Hill, Gloucester, to trim around and polish my Father-in-Law and Sister-in-Law's graves (we do my other Sister in Law, Sonia, as well but she's not actually dead yet but that's another story!).
While there Marlane noticed this Magpie walking between the gravestones and then it just seemed to disappear.
We then noticed it around where the water tap is, it was gathering mud to line it's nest which was up in a nearby Yew tree. By the time we got close enough for a quick snap it had moved between other gravestones and Marlane thought that, as it was on it's own, the 'One for Sorrow' would make a good blip.

Beatiful birds on the outside, member of the crow family, but evil for other birds as they raid nests and eat the eggs and chicks. Right next to the graveyard there is a large, but low, building with LOTS of Gulls nesting on the roof. I don't know if the Magpie has any rich pickings there but I bet she has a rough time of it if she tries.
