Thursday 29 March 2012: Tree frog
The last day of the Wildlife holiday. I was out for dawn and finally saw the blue lupins in the fields above the hotel. There were carpets of serapias and bee orchids too. What a wonderful sight.
Back at the hotel I had time to go to say goodbye to the tree frogs. This one allowed my camera lens to get up close and personal. I love the markings. The frogs sit on the bare branches of a hedge in the sun all day and then move to a small pond for noisy evenings.
I'm now in Paphos for a complete change of pace and scene.
