Thursday 29 March 2012: CHALLENGE OF THE DAY
I spent some time with MsGable this afternoon and we decided that we would do a bit of crafting. MsGable brought her newest craft project with her (I can say no more as it is so impressive that she is bound to blip it once it is finished) and I had a go, for the first time, at quilling. It began life as a kite but soon transformed itself into a flower (mainly because it bore no resemblance to a kite at all). I am quite pleased with my first attempt though.... I just need to perfect the art of getting the shapes to be the size that I want them to be rather than the size they decide they will be! If I manage that I may glue the pieces together and turn them into a greetings card.
